Nick encourages his fellow Iowans to take more cases to trial. He shares the Trial By Human method and focuses on brutal honesty and the importance of approaching jury selection with love and care versus fear. Doing so will help you find neutral jurors that are good hearted people and are willing to be fair. The same love and care that you show for the jury can also be extended to the defense experts. Nick demonstrates how to openly and honestly talk to a defense doctor during your client’s exam and explains why doing so can help bend the expert back from their implicit bias.
