Nick Rowley and Jakob Norman recently hosted a live online chat with our TBH Membership and Listserve Members. During the chat, Nick answered member questions including how to handle voir dire when your time is limited, ways to speak to the jury about sympathy for the defendant, how to explain the loss of a newborn to a jury, what to do if all the photos you were going to use in trial are destroyed/lost, and why Nick used the approach that he did in the Castillo v. Davignon case. At the end of the chat, they shared the powerful and touching trailer for the movie, Making a Killing, that Nick, Jakob and others have been working on.
